Essentials Brunch Spot at Singapore

Brunch is now getting popular and was inspired by the hangover. Having brunch it’s also everyone favorite activity on the weekend. There’s no better way to start off your day than going out for a delicious brunch, but what’s even better is enjoying your breakfast in an awesome environment.

What does an essential brunch look like? Hopefully it means good coffee, a strong tasteful tea and a few reliable menu items to help nurse a hangover. Try some eggs benedict or Pick up at a pancake or waffle. Brunch doesn’t have too much fanfare because it’s supposed to be the laziest, most relaxed meal of the week.

Here now, with the very best restaurant spots with amazing ambiance till the most affordable cafe, ready for you to indulge.

01.Arteastiq Boutique Tea House
Arteastiq known to merge a boutique tea house and social painting studio in the same place. Where you got for high tea, dainty bites and sweet treats, while lazing around in comfy huge sofa seats.

Arteastiq Chicken waffle (S$22) had an Asian twist. The buttermilk chicken was pan-fried, then tossed with red onions, cashew nuts and Thai mayonnaise. so rather than a slab chicken, you get pieces on top on the waffles. The waffles used a whole-wheat version.

The most popular in arteastiq are the iced tea which was like a breath of refreshing, I particularly found delight in Lychee Tea (S$11). This tea has been one of the best seller since arteastiq, which is the perfect summer drink-fruity, lightly sweeten, absolutely refreshing.

02. Chock Of Full Beans
Another famous hipster cafe located at the far reaches of singapore, in Changi Village. The cafe distinguishes its self by its authentic red-bricked wall, creating a warm ambience. Be impressive by the 2D and 3D Latte Art, specially designed by the in-house Barista!

As for food choice, they do serve pretty decent tasting western fare here. We order Set lunch menu Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Prawns and Squids and Angus Beef Burger at S$16/each portion.

The Spaghetti comes with a prawns and squids. Not too oily which is to my liking and the taste quite spicy. It’s not over-the-top kind of spectacular but definitely good enough.

03. Clinton Street Baking Company

Is the Gastronomic stretch of purvis street. Offering a real taste American taste. The signature I was looking forward to, the chicken & waffle (S$21). The waffle use the same batter as the pancakes, so it was no surprise that I love the waffles as much. And the only things I love they used fried chicken breast meat. The breast meat was marinated with buttermilk and was a good portion.

04. Chunky Lobster Singapore
The affordable Lobster Rolls finally hit Singapore. The flagship store just open at Tanjong Pagar, Oxley Tower. You can get the Chunky bar for S$16 and I got mine The Chunky’s Cheezy. The thick lobster flesh topped with a cheddar and mozzarella. I found that the cheese overwhelmed the taste of the lobster.
